Showcase Lab offers this website, including all information, tools, products, and services available, provided the user accepts these Terms and conditions of service, along with the policies referenced or linked within the site.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing a product from us, the user agrees to use our service and be bound by these Terms and conditions, including any additional conditions, notices, or policies posted on the site.

These Terms apply to all users of the site, including, by way of example, visitors, customers, suppliers, merchants, and content contributors.

We invite the user to carefully read these Terms before accessing the site or making a purchase. If you do not fully accept these Terms, you will not be able to use the site or purchase our products.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates on the site. It is the user's responsibility to review this page periodically. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Our online store is hosted on the Shopify platform, which allows us to sell our products via e-commerce.

1. Online Store Terms

By accepting these Terms, the user declares to be of legal age according to the law applicable in their country of residence or to use the site under the supervision and authorization of a parent or guardian.

The user may not use our products or services for illegal, unauthorized purposes or contrary to current regulations.

The user understands that some content transmitted through the site, excluding payment data, may be transferred across different networks and adapted to the technical requirements of connection systems.

Payment data is managed through secure systems and according to the methods provided by the payment providers used on the site.

It is prohibited to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any part of the site, content, products, service, or access to the service without written authorization from Showcase Lab.

The headings on this page are included solely for reading convenience and do not limit or modify the meaning of these Terms.

3. Information on the Site

We do our best to keep the information on the site accurate, up-to-date, and complete.

However, errors, inaccuracies, or omissions may occur regarding product descriptions, prices, availability, production times, delivery times, images, promotions, or other information.

Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Colors, transparencies, finishes, and details may vary slightly depending on the screen used, lighting, chosen configuration, or the handcrafted nature of the product.

We reserve the right to correct any errors, update information, modify content, or cancel orders if the published information is incorrect, incomplete, or outdated.

4. Changes to Products, Services, and Prices

Product prices may be changed without notice.

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue products, services, promotions, descriptions, availability, or site features at any time.

Any offers or promotions published on the site are valid within the limits and for the period indicated, except in cases of errors, changes, or stock depletion.

Showcase Lab will not be liable to the user or third parties for price changes, suspensions, updates, or service interruptions.

5. Showcase Lab Products

Showcase Lab designs and sells plexiglass display cases for collectors, display stands, accessories, components, backgrounds, plates, and customized or made-to-measure products.

Some products are available in a standard version, while others can be configured or made according to specific customer requests.

Products may include, by way of example:

standard display cases;
personalized display cases;
custom-made display cases;
products configured through “Create your custom display case”;
custom plates;
engravings;
backgrounds;
graphics on request;
dedicated components or accessories.

Each product must be used according to its intended purpose. Showcase Lab is not responsible for damages caused by incorrect assembly, improper use, tampering, unauthorized modifications, drops, impacts, exposure to heat sources, or non-compliant use.

6. Customizations and Made-to-Measure Products

The customer can request customized or made-to-measure products, where available.

Examples of customized or made-to-measure products include:

showcases made through “Create your custom showcase”;
showcases with custom measurements;
showcases configured according to specific customer requests;
products with personalized engravings;
custom plates;
custom backgrounds;
dedicated graphics;
modifications compared to standard models;
items made specifically for a particular order.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided, including measurements, texts, names, logos, images, graphics, technical requests, or special instructions.

Showcase Lab is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect data, measurements, or content provided by the customer.

Customized or made-to-measure products are created specifically for the customer and, except for defects, errors, or non-compliance attributable to Showcase Lab, cannot be returned for change of mind.

7. Orders and Acceptance

The submission of the order by the customer constitutes a purchase proposal.

Showcase Lab reserves the right to accept, refuse, suspend, or cancel an order in case of:

incomplete or incorrect data;
payment failure;
suspected fraudulent use;
obvious errors in the price or product description;
product unavailability;
technical impossibility to carry out the requested customization;
requests not compliant with our conditions or current regulations.

In case of order modification or cancellation, we may contact the customer via email, phone, WhatsApp, or other contact details provided at the time of purchase.

The customer agrees to provide correct, complete, and updated information for billing, shipping, and contact.

8. Order Cancellation

Any order cancellation requests must be communicated to Showcase Lab no later than 24 hours from placing the order.

The request must be sent via email or WhatsApp, indicating the order number and customer details.

After 24 hours from placing the order, cancellation may no longer be possible, as the order may have already been processed, prepared, worked on, or sent to production.

For customized or made-to-measure products, including those made through “Create your custom showcase,” cancellation beyond 24 hours will not be accepted if processing has already started.

9. Payments

The available payment methods are indicated during the checkout phase.

The customer is required to provide correct, complete, and authorized payment data.

In case of unauthorized, declined, incomplete, or suspicious payment, Showcase Lab may suspend or cancel the order.

Any specific conditions related to deposits, cash on delivery, partial payments, or other methods will be indicated on the website, on the product page, at checkout, or in communications sent to the customer.

10. Production times

Each Showcase Lab showcase is carefully made and prepared before shipping.

Production times generally range from 5 to 10 business days, depending on model availability, product type ordered, and any customizations.

For customized products, made-to-measure showcases, or special processing, times may vary depending on the complexity of the request.

Production times do not coincide with courier delivery times, which start from the moment the order is actually shipped.

11. Shipping and delivery

Shipments are made via traceable express courier.

Shipping within Italy is always free.

For orders destined for Germany, the shipping cost is €14.90.

For all other countries, the shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout.

From the moment the package is handed over to the courier, delivery generally occurs within 24/48 business hours, except for delays due to holidays, strikes, high logistics demand periods, adverse weather conditions, incorrect addresses, or other causes not directly dependent on Showcase Lab.

Once the order is shipped, the customer will receive a tracking code to monitor the shipment.

The customer is required to verify the accuracy of the shipping information provided. Showcase Lab is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect, incomplete addresses, or absence of the recipient.

Upon delivery, the customer is advised to check the condition of the package. In case of damaged, opened, crushed, or tampered packaging, we recommend accepting with specific reservation and promptly contacting our customer service.

12. Protective films and assembly

Plexiglass panels may be supplied with protective films applied on both sides.

In addition to the outer white film, the plexiglass may also have a matte transparent film on the opposite side.

Both films must be removed before the final assembly of the showcase, unless otherwise indicated.

Failure to remove the matte transparent film may make the plexiglass appear less clear or cloudy, but this does not constitute a material defect.

The customer is required to assemble the product carefully, following any provided instructions. Showcase Lab is not responsible for damages caused by incorrect assembly, improper use, forcing, or incorrect removal of protective films.

13. Returns, refunds, and exchanges

Returns, refunds, and exchanges are governed by our specific Returns and Refunds page, which we invite you to consult before making a request.

The right of withdrawal applies exclusively to standard products, not customized or made to measure, within the limits and according to the conditions provided by current legislation.

Customized, modified, or made-to-measure products cannot be returned for change of mind.

To be accepted, the return must comply with the conditions indicated in the related policy, including the presence of the original protective films still applied on the plexiglass panels, where applicable.

Submitting a return request, even through a self-service procedure, does not automatically imply acceptance of the return. Each request will be verified by Showcase Lab.

14. Legal Warranty and Non-Conforming Products

Consumer rights provided by current legislation on legal warranty of conformity remain fully valid.

In case of a defective product, damage during transport, or non-compliance with the order placed, the customer must promptly contact Showcase Lab attaching photos, videos, and a description of the problem.

After verification, Showcase Lab may propose the most appropriate solution, such as component replacement, sending a new part, repair, product replacement, or another solution agreed with the customer.

Damages caused by improper use, incorrect assembly, impacts, drops, scratches after delivery, improper removal of protective films, tampering, or modifications made by the customer are not considered defects.

15. Materials and Product Features

Showcase Lab uses Top Quality methacrylate plexiglass, chosen to ensure transparency, aesthetics, display quality, and product protection.

We do not use PVC, polycarbonate, or cheap building materials for the production of our display cases.

The technical features of the products, such as thicknesses, measurements, accessories, colors, back panels, engravings, backgrounds, or other options, are indicated on the respective product pages or in communications related to custom orders.

Small technical, aesthetic, or production variations may occur due to artisanal processing needs, without compromising the functionality or quality of the product.

16. Third-Party Tools and Services

The site may use third-party tools, applications, services, or links, such as payment systems, e-commerce platforms, shipping services, support tools, tracking systems, or other external services.

The use of such tools may be subject to the terms and conditions of the respective providers.

Showcase Lab is not responsible for any malfunctions, interruptions, errors, or issues attributable to external services not directly controlled by us.

17. Third-Party Links

The site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content.

These links are provided for the user's convenience. Showcase Lab does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies, conditions, products, services, or practices of third-party sites.

Any purchases, interactions, or transactions made on third-party sites are the sole responsibility of the user and the involved third party.

18. Comments, Feedback, and User-Submitted Content

If the user sends comments, reviews, feedback, suggestions, images, graphics, logos, texts, or other materials, they guarantee they have the right to use and share such content.

The user agrees not to send illegal, offensive, defamatory content, content infringing third-party rights, containing viruses, or otherwise contrary to current regulations.

Showcase Lab may use any feedback, suggestions, or communications received to improve products, services, and support, in compliance with applicable laws.

For materials sent for customization purposes, such as logos, images, texts, or graphics, the customer declares to own the necessary rights or related authorizations for use.

Showcase Lab is not responsible for any third-party rights violations arising from content provided by the customer.

19. Personal Information

The processing of the user's personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

We invite users to consult the Privacy Policy available on the site to learn about the methods, purposes, and rights related to the processing of personal data.

20. Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions

The site may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions related to product descriptions, prices, promotions, offers, availability, shipping costs, production times, or delivery times.

We reserve the right to correct such errors, update information, or cancel any orders affected by incorrect information, even after the order has been placed.

We are not obligated to update, modify, or clarify the information on the site, except as required by law.

These Terms, together with other policies published on the site, constitute the entire agreement between the user and Showcase Lab regarding the use of the site and the purchase of products.

Any previous versions of the Terms are replaced by the most recent version published on the site.

27. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law.

Any disputes will be governed by the provisions of current legislation, including the rights recognized to the consumer.
